Environmental Evolution: How analytical science is adapting to increasing concerns and legislation of PFAS & Neonicotinoids
In this session, we will explore the importance of proficiency testing in environmental testing, whilst focusing on two emerging pollutants of environmental concern; neonicotinoids and PFAS. We will look at how history has impacted today’s regulatory legislation, and how those requirements have advanced as analytical testing methods for these substances have evolved.
We will consider the trends in our very own AQUACHECK scheme data to evaluate the evolution of pesticide testing. Finally, we will look at the future of analytical testing in pollutants and what that could mean for you and your laboratory.
