The Salmonella Story: The past, present and future of PT in Salmonella testing

 

AXIO Proficiency Testing was delighted to be joined by our very own special guest speakers, Tracey Noblett, Head of Microbiology, and Valerie Bardin, Global Product Manager, in our new and exclusive webinar ‘The Salmonella Story: The past, present, and future of PT in Salmonella testing’. 

 

In this session, we explored the role that proficiency testing has played in protecting consumers and brands in the past from Salmonella outbreaks, and how those requirements have advanced as analytical testing methods for Salmonella have evolved. We considered the trends in results from our own laboratory data, providing data-based examples, to explore not only the challenges but potential troubleshooting solutions to poor results in PT participation. Finally, we looked at the future of analytical testing in Salmonella and what that could mean for you and your laboratory.
